We propose to have a few hours of school time to clean the whole school instead of the classrooms only. Our objective is to let the students realise how it feels to clean up others' litters felt behind so they will not litter. They shouldn't take things for granted and rely on others to dispose their litter for them. They would then realised how labour-intensive a cleaner's job is
We also plan to have a cleanest class competition with incentives to those who win. This could let the students have the urge to clean up and slowly notice that a clean classroom is a more condusive place to learn than a classroom which is full of dust and dirt around.

- People should learn and be aware of the harmful effects of littering
- Items used for domestic purposes ought to be reused or recycled
- Personal litter should be disposed at appropriate areas
- Organic waste matter should be disposed in areas that are far away from residential areas
- Inorganic matter such as paper, plastic, glass and metals should be reclaimed and then recycled

Land pollution can affect in areas such as wildlife, plants, and humans(living organisms) in the following ways
- Cause problems in the respiratory system
- Cause problems on the skin
- Lead to birth defects
- Cause various kinds of cancers
The toxic materials that pollute the soil can infect the human body directly by:
- Coming into contact with the skin
- Being washed into water sources like reservoirs and rivers
- Fruits and vegetables that have been grown in polluted soil
- Breathing in polluted areas with dust particles, etc
Effects to the environment:
- Ice caps and Icebergs melt at a faster rate
- Ozone layer becomes more thin
- Earth's temperature rises higher than before
- Carbon Dioxide amount increases

- People are littering everywhere, they throw empty cans, plastic, and even cigarette filters. But they do not realize what will happen to their environment or their surroundings later on. As a result, empty cans will cause the land pollution and will ruin the crops that farmers will plant. this will also lead to shortage of food supply in the near future. Tourists dislike visiting the places where there is litter all over as it is ideal for mosquitoes to breed as there will be stagnant water.
- People do not dispose their garbage bags properly. Some dispose the garbage next to the dustbins which is exposed to the air and the things in the garbage bags may turn rotten.
- Spilling chemical fluids on land will contaminate the land. Spilling oil or gas fluids will corrupt the land. The oil will spread out through the ground causing trees to die. So the oil will contaminate the ground resulting in the land becoming infertile. Farmers spray insecticides to protect the plants but they also kill insects like earthworms which help to loosen the soil. Thus, the land is damaged.

Land pollution is the degradation of earth's land surfaces often caused by human activities and its misuse.
Solid Wastes: It is the product from human and animal activities that are useless, not wanted, or hazardous. Solid wastes typically may be classified as follows:
· Garbage: decomposable wastes from food
· Rubbish: non-decomposable wastes, either combustible (paper, wood, and cloth) or non-combustible (such as metal, glass, and ceramics)
· Ashes: residues of the combustion.
· Large wastes: demolition and construction debris
· Sewage-treatment solids: material retained on sewage-treatment screens, settled solids, and sludge
· Industrial wastes: such materials as chemicals, paints, and sand
· Mining wastes: slag heaps and coal refuse piles
· Agricultural wastes: farm animal manure and crop residues.
